-Where are you from?
I was born in Hampton, VA @ Langley Air Force Base, but I grew up in Tabb. After college my husband & I moved to Wilmington, NC. Midlothian has been our home for the last 8 years.
-Where did you go to school and what did you study?
I graduated from Virginia Tech where I received a BA in Accounting & Information Systems. I am now a strong believer in not choosing a major until the age of 30!
-What is your favorite sport to watch? To play?
Hokie football is the best! I attended during the Mike Vick years & have been hooked ever since. I love to play basketball & melt every time I watch my son play.
-Why did you become a Realtor?
I wanted a career with growth potential and where I could help people. Real Estate has always fascinated me & it feels like a natural fit.
– What advice can you give to a young couple purchasing their first home?
Enjoy the process & do not settle for anything less than your perfect match! Too many people settle & live to regret it. Take your time, the right house will come. Think about everything from your neighbors, to the schools, to the distance from Target. Your location is going to be key, it’s something that you can’t change! Carpets can be removed & walls can be painted, but you can’t upgrade or refinish your location.
– What music do you like?
That’s a tough one, I tend to like it all! Some days I’m a little rock’n roll & some days I’m a lot country.
-Best restaurant in the area?
So many! Best atmosphere is at The Boat House, Sunday Park. Kuba Kuba wins best date night. Sergio’s pleases the entire family.
-Last meal on earth would be?
Long John Silver’s, please do not judge me.
-What do you wish you had invented?
I would love to find the cure for all cancers. Too many people are affected & the ending to everyone’s story should always be a happy one.
-What are you passionate about?
Family time. My children are growing up way too quickly & I catch myself hanging onto every moment with them. Exercise & nutrition have also always been big passions of mine.
-Why should I choose to work with you?
I genuinely want what’s best for you and your family. Your interests are on the forefront, above all else. At the end of the day, relationships are what matter to me, not transactions. I work hard & I tell it like it is. There is no guess work when you work with me, just results that move you!
