Friday Feature – Ellen Clark

Ellen Clark

Today’s Friday Feature is Ellen Clark, an associate broker with Re/Max. I’ve had the pleasure of working with Ellen’s daughter, Patricia Clark, and have known many people that have used The Ellen Clark Team for all of their real estate needs. In fact, Ellen sold my sister-in-law’s house in just 3 days for asking price!

Why did you become a real estate agent?
I became an agent after taking a class at the University of Richmond. That class that sparked my interest in sales. I’d previously had experience with real estate title and knew I could use that knowledge to further my career as an agent.

What experience do you have?
I’ve been an agent for over 19 years and received the rookie of the year award my first year and the distinguished achiever (top producer award) every year since.

What types of specific marketing systems and approaches will you use to sell my home?
Websites, websites, websites! Social media is one of the best ways to show off my listings. Your home will receive a unique website with videos, pictures, and a detailed description so it is readily available and attractive to prospective buyers. I also have a professional Facebook page: The Ellen Clark Team as well as a website: www.ellenclark.com.
Other marketing tools I use are hosting an open house and posting magazine publications.

Can you recommend service providers who can help me obtain a mortgage, make home repairs, and help with other things I need done?
Yes, throughout the years I have developed a list of service providers that come highly recommended. I have a long list of lenders, handymen, CPA’s, etc. that I can refer my clients to. Just ask me!

What’s your business philosophy?
My philosophy is short and simple- I love helping people. Put my clients first, listen to their needs, and perform to the best of my ability.

Tell me a little bit about yourself:
I enjoy spending time with my family and 6 grandchildren. I also love the beach, reading, and real estate!
